 I can't believe that today is the last day of April

 This weekend marked the first official weekend that he has been gone so I did not do much this weekend

Return to work

 Today marks the first day that I will return to work before Easter. 

No work for one week

During the week of April 4 to 11, I had decided to take the week off so I could emotionally heal a little better but it is still hard. I still miss him

 Today marks three weeks since he passed away unexpectedly.

Today was the final day that I could take it off and I return to work on Monday. I kept hoping that you would contact me and this was not real but it is. I wish that you were here. 

Today I am feeling a little bit better but it still comes in waves.
