Driving in the snow: February 22, 2023

I will be having a day in the life blog post up tomorrow but today's post will feature the drive with me.

This morning drive to work was a very hard and long. I knew that I should have stay home because what usually takes me an twenty minutes to get into town took nearly an hour. It was snowing a lot this morning. I ended up taking about three breaks while driving because I could not take it at all. I ended up calling my dad and seeing if he would come and get me because I knew that my car would not be able to get back up.

During the evening time I knew that I was going to have some trouble because it has been snowing all day. My dad suggested that before we got to the turns that I pulled over but there was really no good place until we got onto the back streets when we got to the first hill my car almost ended up in the ditch and it was a good thing that I had the snow socks on. The road looked pretty good but we still had a few trouble spots. We were not able to get the car all the way home so hopefully when the plows come through I will be able to get home.
