Goodbye March

 It's time to say goodbye to the month of March.

This month, we had five birthdays that meant that we had a lot to celebrate. We also had to change our clocks back an hour and then welcome Spring.

We also were wrapping up the drama from the car accident from February with getting the car fixed and then also getting it repaired. We also had to get a rental.

Speaking of car, it also marked one year since my car getting stolen. We also hit one year since I left CV not by my choice but because of COVID

One year since CV departure

 Happy one year anniversary of CV departure! 

It is crazy to think that it's been a full year since I left CV as an employee. It's crazy that it's been a full year since I was able to see all the kids that I love so much and can be with them. They were truly a blessing in my life and I miss them so much.

Now I don't miss the drama or the bullshit that came with that place because of the fact that I was not their favorite. They used to tease me for having an allergy and that's not right at all and that should not be okay. To treat someone so badly and they would get away with it and that's not right.

What was also not right when they knew that you had a family event to go to and refused to let you go early because someone else asked after you or when someone decided to leave a child into the room at the other location but throw you under the bus because you left the room and left that person in the 1 to 10 ratio and did not care that it was not your fault.

Day in the life: March 23, 2021

 Today is the day that I am supposed to turn in the rental car and get my car back. I really hope that they are done.

Day in the life: March 21, 2021

 We did not go to bed until midnight and then got up around 8am. My aunt's order from Amazon arrived and I helped her set it up. 

We got ready to go home and hit the road around 12:15 and made it in to the capitol around 1:40pm and made it back to Vancouver by 3:30pm. We ended up having to stop and get gas before arriving home around 3:54pm. I started to do my laundry before relaxing for the rest of the day.

I also knew that I needed to do laundry.

Day in the life: March 20, 2021

 Today I woke up around 6am and got ready for the day since we are leaving in a few hours to go up to my aunt's house.

I had a list of things to do and then we cleaned out the car before loading up the car to drive up my aunt's house.

We got up to the aunt's house around noon before heading to the casino for some fun.

We stayed until 4pm and then headed back to the house to relax for the rest of the night.

Day in the life: March 16, 2021

 This morning, I got up hating the day because today is the day that I have to turn my car in and get a rental. I am not sure how many days that it will be gone but hopefully find out tonight.

I got to work with plenty of time to spare and then clocked in and started with all the breaks.

I got off around 6pm and then took my friend home before heading home myself.

Day in the life: March 13, 2021

This morning, I ended up having to get up around 7am and head into town. I knew that I also had a few errands to do today and that was the plan to do so.

First up was to go and get gas and Dutch Bros before picking up my friend to take her to get her COVID shot.

After we came back from the COVID shot, it was time to go to IQ and open a new account because I have not been happy with Chase.

Then we went to the glasses place and got my nose pieces switched out.

Finally, I drove her out to where my accident was at and then headed to take her home before I headed home. I also did my laundry.

Beach Weekend Schedule: Mix up

A few weekends ago, my mom and I headed up north for a little trip and then decided that we wanted to set up our annual beach trip.

We decided that we were either going to go on Friday night and spend until Sunday or go Saturday and spend until Monday there but that meant that I needed to schedule some days off from work.

I set up the hotel and they decided to take out the money about two months before our trip which was not okay by any means because I had to rent a car which we quickly cancel the hotel and made a different hotel choice.

Car Accident Update: damage

 It's been a little over two weeks since my car accident and I am still having to deal with it. 

One of the things that I have to do is get my car fixed since there were some things damage to my car.

One year since Schools close

 Back when the Governor announced that the schools would close, we thought that it would just be for two weeks well it turned into a full year.

Now a few of the school districts have opened to Hybrid Learning with the kids going back for the next two to three months.

 This morning around 2am, we jumped an hour ahead and that means that we were supposed to change the clocks an hour ahead and well I forgot.

Car accident update

 Following my accident, I knew that I needed to reach out to my insurance and fill them in on the fact that I was in accident.

Now I just have to do the next steps.

Car Accident

 Yesterday, I shared my day in the life: February 28th and I left something out. Not because I wanted to but because I wanted to share it in it's own post.

Around 4:10pm, I left my house and got into my car to go to the store. When I got out of a shit ton of turns, I had a choice of going left or right and I had a feeling to go right but decided to go left.

I got onto 28th street and everything was going fine. Finally when I got to 232nd ave, I noticed that there was a biyclist turning out when I had the right away. I knew that I had three choices to make.

The first choice was to go past him on the left lane of the road but could not because there was a car coming at me that way.

The second choice was to go into the ditch but knew that I would still have to deal with my insurance because I would have damaged my car.

The third choice was to try and get his attention so that way I would not hit him. I laid on my horn three times and let me tell you that my horn is not quite one bit. I slammed on my breaks so that way I would not hit him but nothing that I could do aviod hitting him.

I was finally able to stop and pulled on the road knowing that I had to stay. I got out of my car to check on him and call 911 because he was bleeding from the nose. 

The cops got there and figured out that he was at fault because he turned out right in front of me.

I got home and noticed that I have quite a bit of damaged to my car and now that I have to get it fix. I also noticed that I have a maigre headache that I did not have before.

Falls adventure: February 27th

 It's been months since we were last at the falls and Saturday morning we decided to go to the falls. The water was a lot higher than last time and we were unable to go up to the railroad tracks.

Day in the life: February 28, 2021

This morning, I got up and watched Smackdown with my mom before I headed upstairs to work on the blogs. Normally I like to do them on Saturday but because I went some where fun yesterday, I did not do them.

Later that night, I was driving to the store when something happen. I will be sharing it soon with you all.

We were able to find some masks on Amazon and I was also looking for something to cover my front window that was supposed to be here on February 23, 2021 and it did not show up.

Day in the life: February 20, 2021

This morning, we got up very early and headed to Lucky Eagle. I was not a fan of having to wear the paper masks because they are causing me to have a reaction from it. I lasted about an hour in there before going to my car and sitting for two hours. We also went to Ilani where I lost about half of the money.

We got home and I started my laundry.

Day in the life: February 15, 2021

 This morning, I got up knowing that we had to all be at work by nine am. I started my car so that way it would warm up so I can get most of the snow off of the car. As I was cleaning off the car, my work announced that it was going to closed today which was a good thing. We needed that closure because I know that my roads are not safe for me to drive down.

The rest of the day, I just relaxed.
